NCAA All-time Record for Three Pointers
Tennessee remaining guaranteed games (11 games)
February 5 Florida
February 9 at LSU
February 13 Arkansas
February 16 at Georgia
February 20 Auburn
February 23 at No. 1 Memphis
February 26 at No. 20 Vanderbilt
March 2 Kentucky
March 5 at No. 22 Florida
March 9 South Carolina
March 13 SEC Tournament First Round/Second Round because #1 or #2 in East bye
I assume that Tennessee will win a few conference tourney games and will make it to at least the Sweet 16. I will say Tennessee at the minimum makes it to Semifinals in the conference tourney and the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tourney. That is 5/6 extra games in the postseason. Which it is highly possible that Tennessee could do better in both or tourneys, or worse. The point is Lofton has a decent shot at the record if he stays on the same pace.
Lofton would need to hit more than 5.5 threes a game average to break the record. Good luck to Lofton, thanks for reading

NCAA All-time Record for Three PointersYeah, i tend to agree with Bluffton. I think Lofton will fall short, but it will be close. I really hope he breaks it; that would be awesome. But i say he averages 4-5 here on out and misses the record by a dozen or so. But, having said that, it is Lofton. Who knows, maybe he'll knock down 14 tonight! :) Go Vols!!! |

NCAA All-time Record for Three PointersYeah, I don't know, I think he will be close but I don't think he will break it, I hope that Bruce actually gives him a chance to break it though. He should hit a couple tonight, I love this game, it is always the most fun, loudest, rowdiest game on there home schedule. He should hit 5+ tonight, I do agree. You guys plan on going to the game tonight????? |

NCAA All-time Record for Three PointersYeah, I really wish he would've been hitting earlier this year, he actually probably would've broken it. Oh well, I am sure he doesn't care so that is good enough for me. You guys see whose number is being retired tonight.........Ernie Grunfeld will have his number (22) retired tonight, Bernard King will be helping with the ceremonies tonight also. I am really glad that Bruce is doing this for these guys. |

NCAA All-time Record for Three PointersDude... I've got season tickets and it freakin worked out for the worst. This is the only game i'm going to miss all freakin year! How's the luck on that one??? I ended up trading them for some football tickets in the fall. I live an hour and a half to two hours (depending on traffic) and fortunatly this meeting i have to attend is over at 8:45, so i'm going to sprint back to the homestead as soon as it's over hopefully in time for tip off. |

NCAA All-time Record for Three PointersThat sucks that you can't go, I know I will be dying tomorrow for lack of sleep but it will be worth it, I haven't missed a home game this year except for the 2nd exhibition. I will record it on ESPN so if I want to see something again I can, hopefully the commentators won't beat us up as usual. |
